Roxanne Perez had an incredible 2022 that capped off with a title win over former WWE NXT star Mandy Rose. The Prodigy represented the white and gold brand in the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble match as well.
Roxanne Perez had an tremendously physical match against former NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura this past Tuesday at NXT Roadblock. The Final Boss took the young champion to the limit.

Roxanne retained her title via roll-up. The victory, however, came at a brutal cost as she collapsed from exhaustion after the match. The NXT Women’s Champion was stretchered out of the show and spent the night in local medical facility.
The angle created buzz on the internet, with some wondering whether or not Roxanne legit passed out after the match. Apparently, someone on the internet took the storyline for real and changed Roxanne’s Google page to show her “deceased.”
As of this writing, the page labelling her as “deceased” is still live on Google. Roxanne Perez should be commended for doing a terrific job selling the toll from her recent match-up with Satomura. That said, we’re still wondering if some fans will ever learn the difference between kayfabe and reality.
