Taylor Swifts White Horse Has Finally Come Around

Taylor Swift Press Conference To Announce Breaking The Record Of Solo Artist Sold-Out Shows At The Staples Center

In the winter of 2008, Taylor Swift released a a mournful fairy tale themed song about waiting for a prince who she knew may never come.  The song, “White Horse” captured Swift’s emotions as she sang, “I was a dreamer before you went and let me down/Now it’s too late for you and your white horse to come around.”  Unfortunately for Swift, her story didn’t have a happy ending and Swift’s prince on a white horse never showed up.  Now, six years after the song’s release, Swift has decided that it’s time for her to stop waiting and get her own white horse.  In the video for her recent single, “Blank Space,” Swift ultimately gets her white horse; however, her luck with the man of her dreams is still abysmal.

After the video’s debut, T. Swift fans everywhere seemed genuinely happy that Swift’s white horse had finally appeared, and many applauded the fact that she had gotten the horse without any help from a man. Here are tweets from fans congratulating Taylor Swift on her white horse.

During an interview, Taylor Swift stated: “As a teenager, I didn’t understand that saying you’re a feminist is just saying that you hope women and men will have equal rights and equal opportunities.” Well now, at 24-years-old, Swift seems to have a pretty good grip on feminism after deciding that she’s done waiting for a man to do something for her that she can do for herself.
